Who we are

Origin

  • Considering the fact that more than 80% of the population lives below a dollar a day;
  • Considering the fact that unemployment is one of the causes of poverty;
  • Given the fact that poverty is the cause of societal decay
  • According to the Millennium Development Goals (2000-2015), anyone living below a dollar a day is poor and the Millennium Development Goals aim to eradicate extreme poverty by 2015

Given this, as well as Law No. 92/006 of August 1992, its Implementation Decree No. 92/455 / PM of November 23, 1992, on the right to create Non-Governmental Organizations in Cameroon; we have therefore decided to create this Organization with the name Hope Of Tomorrow with the acronym (HOT).

Vision

We are committed to advocating systematic change to improve our communities and the lives of individuals. The core strength of our Foundation is to create leadership development strategies. The HOT Foundation is committed to working in partnership with all the communities it serves to achieve measurable and sustainable progress in well-being. This commitment is a reflection of our optimal belief.

HOPE OF TOMORROW (HOT) is an Association based in Yaoundé, in the Center Region. Our main goal is the empowerment of disadvantaged people in the educational, social and economic fields in order to contribute to the eradication of poverty as well as to the improvement of their living conditions and therefore to reduce societal decadence.

Our Association wishes to assist disadvantaged people in society to enable them to develop their talents and abilities, with a view to improving themselves and taking charge of their future. It is our belief that it is not enough to do them favours that will help them for a few days or even a few weeks. It is therefore up to us to provide for their education in order to make them more independent. If we teach them to live more thoughtfully it would be necessary for them to have a fulfilled and more balanced life. We can then impact an entire community for lasting change.
