Since 2018, Hope Of Tomorrow has been committed to supporting families who are victims of war, in particular those victims of the NOSO war in Cameroon, as well as many orphans left to their fate.
Indeed, each year the association sets itself the mission of collecting funds from its many donors and benefactors from all over the world. Thanks to its collection policy, the association has been able to receive school supplies, clothes, and shoes, all materials that can be used by the learner.
This year, the biggest clothing collection came to us from Paris and Germany. Thanks to the operation “support orphans back to school”, we have received more than 300 school bags to allow several children to go to school. Thanks to the charity fun fair project in the UK in the summer of 2022, we raised more than £300. We also received food and sanitary donations; basic necessities (foodstuffs): rice, cassava flour, bean flour, etc., which were distributed to several families.
Thanks to the financial donations collected, we gave each child a sum of money that could allow them to pay for their schooling. And we made sure in advance thanks to our volunteer team that the request was real. A very great work of listening and support has been done to feel the need and to distribute the shares according to the needs of each. Since our goal is also to allow these people to manage to develop activities that will allow them to be more independent.
We gave an orphan a sewing machine that could allow her to develop in the field of sewing, having helped her to obtain sewing training in the past, we were kind enough to continue to support her so that thereafter she become an actor in their own development.
If it is still necessary to quote another example of this kind, we also think of this widow who, having several children in her charge, could not manage to feed them and ensure schooling. We gave her a sack of flour, oil, a sack of beans, and much more allowing him to launch a small donuts business; allowing her to take better care of her children.
We are on September 10th, we made ourselves available, and we have done everything possible so that many children can go back to school. And aware of the educational challenges, we have set up a support system to better help these different beneficiaries. The task is really great and the demand is present, which is why we are continually at work, seeking new methods to improve and to help even more all those children who are left to themselves.
